2023 Photo Competition Westmeath Oil
The Westmeath Oil Photography Competition is open & ready for submissions!!
From 1st February 2023 until 31st August 2023, we will be accepting submissions for our 2024 Westmeath Oil Calendar.
There’s a photographer in all of us! The next time you are out and about enjoying your local amenities, why not take some photos and submit them to the Westmeath Oil Photo Competition? You could be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes and the first prize is a €500 fuel voucher. The fuel voucher can be used for a home heating oil delivery from Westmeath Oil within our delivery area!

How to Enter
We have no set theme for our photography competition but we do require that all photos be taken within Ireland and we would love to see some photos relevant to our business or taken within our delivery areas in Westmeath and Roscommon.
As the winning photos will be used in our 2024 Westmeath Oil Calendar, we would love to receive a range of photos showcasing all seasons. You can take a scenic snap from Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter, or capture some photos of your local attractions, photos of nature, or simply your quirky take on life in or after lockdown!
The winning photographs will feature in our Westmeath Oil 2024 Calendar and will be distributed to all our domestic and commercial customers. The overall winning photograph will take pride of place as the featured photo on the cover of the calendar.
We display all entries on our social media channels (crediting the photographer) and the winning entries may also be used throughout our marketing for the year.
Who can enter the Westmeath Oil Photo Competition?
Our competition is open to all photographers of all skill levels, so basically once you can aim and click, you’re in!
This bit is important!! – We ask that all photos submitted be taken in Landscape orientation. Although many great photos are taken for use on Snapchat and Instagram we do ask that all photos are free from watermarks, signatures, date stamps, and any social media filters or lenses.
Entrants under 18 years of age must have parental / guardian consent.
Written consent must be obtained from any person featured in the photo or by a parent if the person is under 18 in advance of submitting the photo for entry.
It is assumed by entering the competition you have read and accepted our Competition rules / Terms & Conditions
Is there a Prize?
So here is the good bit… Yes, there will be 12 prizes in total. Each of the winners will have their photographs and accreditation published in the 2024 Westmeath Oil Calendar which will be distributed to our customers. They will also be featured on the WestmeathOil.ie website, our Facebook Page and Instagram accounts.
The 1st Prize winner will receive a Westmeath Oil Gift Voucher worth €500 to use against delivery of Home Heating Oil. Their photograph will also be the feature photo published on the cover of the calendar!
Each of the 11 runners-up will receive a €100 Westmeath Oil voucher which can be redeemed towards Home Heating Oil… So, what are you waiting for? This is your chance to have your photos recognised and win a prize in the process!!
